Finding a mediator that has extensive litigation experience and practical experience in trademark and copyright matters can be difficult. For many years, my colleagues have asked that I mediate cases for them primarily because of my experience in the substantive area of trademarks and copyrights. Additionally, they felt that my  personality and practical approach to problem solving would be beneficial to assist in the settlement of their disputes. As a result, I have been trained in mediation and have successfully assisted in the settlement of a number of disputes in the trademark and copyright arena. This is a service that I enjoy providing and one that I have found works better for most litigants in a small firm environment.
