Jim has over 15 years experience in IP law, particularly in trademarks, domain name recovery, anti-counterfeit, and business transactions involving IP. Prior to joining Richard Law Group,
Jim was Managing Counsel for Hewlett-Packard Company.

Jim was most recently responsible for managing patent prosecution for HP's computer and services businesses, representing thousands
of pending and granted patents. Jim also counseled HP's server and storage businesses on transactions involving IP, including patent
and software licenses, standards licensing, open source agreements, joint development agreements, confidentiality and trade secret
agreements, and IP indemnities, warranties and limitations of liability.

Trina Marie Brainard

Trina is the Trademark Administrator for Richard Law Group and has over 20 years of experience in the trademark field. She has extensive experience in trademark searching and clearance, preparation of trademark applications and other correspondence with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, as well as maintenance of domestic and international trademarks. Trina works directly with clients in addressing their trademark requirements and corresponds with all foreign associates to ensure that the firm's trademark portfolios are properly managed and maintained. Additionally, Trina is active in INTA and has served on several committees.
